A community church for everyone
The Mission of CenterPoint is:
We strive to EXPRESS the deep love of God in Christ to those who do not personally know it. We share Christ's love verbally through the presentation of the gospel and physically with our actions.
We seek to ENCOURAGE progressive and increasing maturity, understanding and love in every beleiver, recognizing that the moment we cease to move forward in our faith, we face the danger of becoming apathetic and ineffective.
We work to EQUIP each beleiver to go, in the power of the Holy Spirit, and actively pursue the spread of God's praise outside the walls of the church. We will proclaim God's character, love, and the reconciling work of His Son on the cross within our community and, ultimately, the world.
To bring greater praise and glory to God by actively seeking to make MORE followers of Jesus and BETTER followers of Jesus.
In order to accomplish this mission, we have three primary goals:
We recognize that the extent to which we achieve our mission and fulfill our goals depends on our willingness of each of us to dedicate ourselves to nine Core Commitments:
